Step-by-step explanation:
given,
radius of the circular card sheet=14 cm
radius of the two small circle=3.5 cm
length of the rectangle=3cm
breadth of the rectangle=1cm
(first we have to find out the area of the circular card sheet, two circles and rectangle to find out the remaining area)
now,
area of the circular card sheet= πr²
=(22/7)×14²
=(22/7)×14×14
=22×2×14
=616 cm²
area of the 2 small circles=2×πr²
=2×(22/7)×3.5²
=2×(22/7)×3.5×3.5
=2×(22/7)×12.25
=2×(22/7)×38.5
=77cm²
area of the rectangle=l×b
=3×1 cm²
=3 cm²
now,
the area of the remaining part=card sheet area-(area of two circles + rectangle area)
=616(77+3)
=616-80
=536 cm²
hope this helps!!!:)
