From the top of a tree height 13m the angle of elevation and depression of the top and bottom of another tree are 45o and 30o respectively, Find the height of the second tree.

AC = 13√3

BE = AC = 13√3

From the figure

BE = DE = 13 √3

Height of second tree

DE + CE = 13+ 13√3

   = 13(1+√3)

  =  13 * 2.732
