As we know that brain is highest coordinating center in the body. It is divided in three regions:-
1. Forebrain
2. Midbrain
3. Hindbrain
1. It consists of mainly cerebrum, which is the main thinking part of the brain and also a site of learning, reasoning intelligence, memory and personalities. Also all the voluntary actions are coordinate by forebrain.
2. The midbrain doesn't have any divisions. It controls reflex movements of the hand neck and trunk in response to visual and auditory stimuli.
3. The parts of hindbrain are pons, medulla, and cerebellum. Pons takes part in regulating respiration.
The cerebellum helps in maintaining posture and balance of body.
Medulla controls various involuntary actions such as heart beating, etc.
Hope understand better!.....
