Functions of RBI

-Firstly RBI issues the currency

- the RBI monitors the bank in actually maintaining the cash balance

-RBI also sees that the bank give loan to not only to just a profit making business and traders but also to small cultivator small scale industries etc

-Periodicallt Banks have to submit information to RBI on how much they are lending to who , at what interested rate etc

-RBI decides interest rate On deposits and loan
