Damages caused by the cyclone
- Nearly 63 people died.

- Fishing boats were ravaged.
- Trees were uprooted.
- Houses and buildings were destroyed.
- Cattle and birds were killed.
- Electric lines were damaged.
Thus it caused a massive destruction of the livelihood, leaving many people homeless, food less and jobless.
