The increase in earths temperature due to green house gases is known as global warming. It leads to melting of polar ice caps, glaciers etc. causing floods and rise in sea level. It also damages the ozone layer causing UV Rays to enter earth easily.

This process is known as global warming.
It can cause serious problems to the Earth and it's inhabitants. For now, we already have two great ozone holes which gives way to all types of radiations on the Earth and this produces excess heat which causes global warming.

Thanks.
