>It is haploid phase of life cycle.

>It is specialized to produce gametes.

> All division are mitotic.

> It is sexual generation.

> Fusion of gametes produces zygote.

> It is formed by germination of a meiospore.



SPOROPHYTE : -

1. It is diploid phase of life cycle.

2. It produces spores called meiospores.

3. Meiosis occurs during formation of meiospores.

4. It is asexual generation.

5. Meiospores form gametophytes.

6. It is formed by growth of a zygote.
