Dear Diary,

It took a lot of courage to write the letter to my father and I was really very scared to know how will he react reading my letter. I don’t know why I stole, it’s something I would never do again in my life in the future.

I felt very guilty about it that I had to let my father know, I thought father would never speak to me or would beat me but his reaction was very different and the way he spoke to me made me understand about my wrong doing. This taught me a lesson and gave me a chance to better myself as a human being.

Hi diary,

Today, my son approached me with a note. In this letter, he admitted that he had stolen money from his brother's armlet in order to settle a debt of 25 rupees. He begged me to punish him appropriately because he was so ashamed of himself for doing it. Reading the note made me quite emotional, and I started crying.

My son's heart was obviously heavy with regret and repentance, I recognised. My son confessed his guilt and made an admission of error in front of me, and I couldn't be more proud of him. God bless my child, please.
