firstly multiply root(3x+1)+root(5x-1) to numerator and denominator .
Denominator becomes 2-2x after solving can be written as -2(x-1).
open the numerator's x^2-1 as (x+1)(x-1) and cancel the (x-1) from num and deno and then directly put x=1. You will get the answer as -4.
