heyyyyy mate....

Genetic manipulation is a process done to manipulate the genome of an organism in order to produce desired traits.

In the past, this was achieved by selective breeding.

Genetic manipulation helps in obtaining desirable agronomic characters like Dwarfness in cereals and tallness and profuse branching in fodder crops.
