I think u have done some mistake in ur question but I understand your answer is
1) 1. the particles of liquid have space between them
2.the particles of liquid can not compressed much.
2). 1. the solid have fixed shape and fixed volume.

(a). water at room temperature is liquid bcz at room temperature water exists as liquid , above 100° C it exists as vapour or boiling water and below 0° C it exists as ice.
(b). an iron admirah is a solid at room temperature bcz the melting points of iron is very high.
