1) Majoritarian government formed by Sri Lankans , which made Tamils feel alienated from the society
2) Preferential policies adopted by government which favour Sri lankans for white collar jobs
3) Tamils were not included in the politics , which in turn made them believe that Sri lankans does not cared for Tamils
