Give examples of each cases ( on increasing temperature ) : (i) solubility increases (ii) solubility decreases (iii) solubility remains almost unchanged . in 3 marks
Answers
Answer:
(i) solubility increases
temperature changeSolubility increases with temperature for most substances; for example, more sugar will dissolve in hot water than in cold water. The solubility of gases displays the opposite relationship with temperature; that is, as temperature increases, gas solubility tends to decreases.
(ii) solubility decreases
Table salt is a good example: you can dissolve just about the same amount of table salt in ice water as you can in boiling water. For all gases, as the temperature increases, the solubility decreases.
iii) solubility remains almost unchanged
