FRICTION HELPS ALL TO MOVE FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER AND IT IS ALSO A FOR BECAUSE IT DOES NOT MAKE THINGS TO MOVE FORWARD EASILY.

Lets start with how friction is a "friend" or in a more scientific way a "supportive force"

First of all. When you take a step friction in your foot or in the shoes your wearing allows you to move to the front by acting in the opposite direction.

Second example would be that objects won't stay place if there wasn't "Static Friction" which holds objects to the ground in relative to their weight.

Now to how Friction is a "Foe"

Friction could be dangerous lets say if you fall on the street by the force of friction your soft skin will be against the hard ground and unfortunately get bruised.

Second, friction could disappear when we for example slide an object on a watery surface or on a "frictionless plane" which is often made of ceramic or similar materials. So if friction disappeared walking on such surfaces will be an impossible mission.
