Hi but the first thing to understand is the sky is either blue(morning) or reddish orange(evening).
Sky is never gets white in colour, the white coloured thing you see is clouds both are different things.
Now let me answer the first bit:
Why is sky blue?
Sky is blue due to the dispertion/scattering of white light from the sun to seven different colours out of which only blue since having a lower wavelength reach our eyes, moreover our eyes can detect / tend to observe blue light the most.i.e blue colour is most sensitive to the human eye (thats how our eyes are designed).
Having less wavelength helps blue colour to reach our eyes, because lower wavelength has more scatering compared to higher wavelength lights(ex-red).
Why cloud is white?
The answer is that clour contains very large content of water droptels having , obstructing the scatering of white light into its seven colour components.hence white light remains as such.
I will answer some more related topics to make it clear.
Why cloud gets black before raining?
Before raining the water droplets are even more dense ,than a normal cloud hence it obstructs the path of light itself, hence black colour is observed.(just like it is dark/black in a rooms without any source of light.)
Why is sun reddish orange in the evening?
Evening time the sun is at the farthest point from the observer, hence lights of lower wavelength gets scattered. The only colour that can reach after travelling a large distance and without being scattered is red,due to its large wavelength.
