Give reason: In the electric equipment producing heat e.g. iron, electric heater, boiler, toaster etc ,an alloy like nichrome is used, not pure metal.

because alloys has the highest melting point then pure metal....

this is because alloys have high resistivity than pure metals. Moroever alloys does not oxidies easily.
