GIVE REASONS ; i) sodium metal is kept immersed in kerosene ii) blue color of copper sulphate solution disappear when some aluminium powder is added in it ?

Sodium is a highly reactive metal placed second most reactive metal in the metal reactivity series because of which on exposure to the atmosphere it catches fire. Therefore to prevent it from coming in contact with air it is kept immersed in kerosene.
