Give reasons :- silver articles become black after exposure to air

silver is react with oxygen and then the oxygen turn into its black this is a chemical reaction

hey yar the reason is Silver articles become black on exposure to air for sometime. When silver articles exposed to air silver racts with sulphur present in the atmosphere and form ablack layer of silver sulphide on the surface.
