Given, linear equation is 3y+15=0
3Y= -15
Y= -15/3
Y= -5

i)
If Y = -5 is treated as an equation in one variable, then it has a unique solution y= -5. So it is a point on the number line.

ii)
Given equation Y = -5 can be written as 0.x + y+5= 0, which is a linear equation in two variables x and y.

This is represented by a line .Here all the values of X are permissible because 0.x is always 0. However, y must satisfy the equation y=-5

Thus, the graph AB is a line parallel to X-axis at a distance of -5 units in the negative direction of Y axis.

Step-by-step explanation:

3y+15=0

0x+3y+15=0

3y= -15

y = -15/3

y = - 5

x = 0
