The geometrical representation of 2x+13=0 as an equation in

(i) One variable

(ii) two variables

is as follows.

x = - 6.5

Given, 2x + 13 = 0

(i) One variable

2x + 13 = 0

2x = - 13

x = -13/2 = - 6 1/2 = - 6.5

∴ x = - 6.5

(ii) two variables

2x + 13 = 0

2x + 0y + 13 = 0

2x =  - 13

x = -13/2 = - 6 1/2 = - 6.5

∴ x = - 6.5
