a) the seasonal variation in the climate is minimum in equilatorial regions because of the everlasting presence of the sun, because of which the climate there is usually constant-Warm..
b) the trees in such region react so because they get a full supply of their needs, which helps them in growing stronger and taller and because of the competition of space they form canopy because of which smaller plants/sapplings are unable to generate..
