China is not a democratic country in the true spirit of democracy because of i) For contesting election to the Chinese Parliament the candidates need theapproval of the Chinese community party only the members of the Communist Party and its it allies are allowed to contest the election .

ii)There is one party rule that is the Communist Party of China which is not the indication of a true democracy therefore China can't be said to be a true democracy .
