the disadvantage of the munro system was
1- the farmers were unable to pay the taxes which got them in the clutches of the money lender
2- the land revenue to be paid was not fixed and was dependent on the landlord who had the rights to eject them from their land which bought insecurity in them!
3- to avoid the ejection they had to borrow money from the mahajan (money lenders) if they don't pay it on time their land was lost to the money lenders!
