1)Write down 10^a+1 in terms of x.
2)Write down 10^2b in terms of y.
3)If log10 P = 2a - b, express P in terms of x and y.​

x =  {10}^{a}

log10 y = b

y =  {10}^{b}

 {10}^{a}  + 1 = x + 1

 {10}^{2b}  =  {y}^{2}

log10 P=2a-b

log10 P=2log10 x- log10 y

log10 p=log10 x^2-log10 y

hence p=x^2/y
