Given that sound travels in air at the speed of 340m/s.find the wavelength of the waves a 20Hz sound source.if the same source is put in a water tank ,what would be the wavelength of the sound ?(speed of sound in water=1480m/s)

wavelength = speed/frequency
speed of sound=340m/s
frequency=50Hz
so wavelength= 340/50= 6.8m
----------------------------------------------
the refractive index of water is 1.33
so wavelength=
initial wavelength/ refractive index
=6.8/1.33=5.1m
