Given A = x - 20 and B = x - 30

Given that two angles are complementary.

We know that two angles are complementary, when they add up to 90 degrees.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

= > x - 20 + x - 30 = 90

= > 2x - 50 = 90

= > 2x = 140

= > x = 70.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore,

The measure of angle 1 = 70 - 20 = 50.

The measure of angle 2 = 70 - 30 = 40.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps!
