It depends on time. Time is going forward and it never turns back to the past events. Age is also growing upwards. Like when we say that a person is 20 years old, he has already spent 20 years of his life; after 5 years we cannot say that he will be 20 - 5 = 15 years old, rather we will count is as 20 + 5 = 25 years. Age is always integration not derivative. So according to me $\bold{AGE}$ goes up but never comes down.

We humans undergo growth, but we never have a reduce in it. Our age increases with time. Humans have a fix time period of their life. The longest life of a human till now was 120 - 122 years.

Every day, we grow and grow.

Along with us, plants also grow. Plants don't have a fix time period of their life. They may live for some months or for hundreds of years.

Moreover, Age can be referred as the time period of one's life.
