Corrosion

The process in which metal are eaten up by the action of air , water and chemical are called corrosion.

Rancidity

The process of complete or incomplete oxidation or hydrolysis of fat and oil resulting unpleasant taste or odor.

Rancidity: When the substance containing oils and fats are exposed to air they get oxidised and become rancid due to which their smell, taste and colour change.
