The story "The Happy Price" is an example of the saying that "Goodness can never be destroyed". The Happy Prince and the swallow both have goodness in their heart. The Happy Prince gave his eyes, jewels, and gold for the people who were very poor. He sacrificed himself for the betterment of the people. It was because of this reason that both of them were awarded the place in heaven by God.
