Grains of wheat are usually washed and spread out in the sun to dry before being ground into flour. Why is this done​

So that the wheat is cleaned and there is no moisture.

Because we need the grains to be clean and if we don't dry it,it would be in the form of a paste when grinded   instead of powder.
