The cultivation of commercial crops made our lands lose its fertility and thus made the situation very difficult in India whereas this really helped the britishers as it boosted their revenue system

Due to cultivation of commercial crops land start becoming barren and soon the productivity will be less but it benefited British as they were collecting revenue and increasing economy of there country
