Guys I hav read somewhere that
FeO is ferrous oxide
Fe2O3 is ferric oxide
Fe3O4 magnetic oxide

But on other hand teacher said that
Fe2O3 is ferrous oxide
Fe3O4 ferric oxide

So plz solve my confusion by telling names of all of d abv mentioned compounds with proper proofs of websites.. plz answer as early as possible 2 get brainliest in d answer.....& also 2 help me ....plzzz....

Hey FeO is ferrous and Fe2O3 is ferric oxide. No doubt in that. lower oxidation state metal oxides are always Ferrous. No exception mind it.

And with Fe3O4, its a mixed oxide of FeO and Fe2O3. That is Fe3O4=》FeO.Fe2O3
