according to newtons second law
Force = mass × acceleration
F = m.a
bu when a body is in free fall it is under the influence of gravity . so,
acceleration = acceleration due to gravity=9.8m/s
Force=mass×acceleratio due to gravity
F = m.(-g) [-ve sign is because it falls downwards]
