Half the perimeter of a rectangular Garden whose length is 4 metre more than its width,is 36 metre.Find the dimension of the garden.​

Length= 20 m, Width= 32 m and Perimeter= 72 m

Perimeter=  x

By the given data,

x/2= 36 m

width= x/2-4

         = 36-4

width = 32 m

x/2= 36

x= 36 × 2

 = 72 m

Perimeter= 72 m

Length= Perimeter-Width/2

           = 72-32/2

           = 40/2

           = 20 m

Therefore, Length= 20 m, Width= 32 m and Perimeter= 72 m
