If potassium and sodium are kept opened it immediately catches fire so that only it is stored in kerosene.....If this answer helps u plzzzz mark it as brainlist

When sodium and potassium are kept in open they both will react violently with atmosphere gas and will catches fire so that's why these both metals are kept in kerosene oil because they are highly reactive metal
