Horrified to see a lady with a small baby in her hand drowning in the river. Hundreds of people were simply watching, shouting and praying. I was shocked that not a even a single person tried to pull her out.
To my amazement, a NCC team stopped at that place. Within a few minutes, those boys planned her rescue. After close to 40 minutes of team work and bravery, they successfully saved two lives.

This was the main reason which motivated to join National Cadet Corps
