Hello everyone!
I hope you all are doing well! Im practising for an exam and there is some points I need help with and they are:

1. photosynthesis:
Explain what the products of photosynthesis are used for.

2.Food Chains and Webs:
Explain how energy is lost at every trophic level.

3.Carbon cycle:
a- State the two main processes involved in the carbon cycle.
b- Describe how carbon in an ecosystem is balanced.
c- Explain ways in which humans can make the carbon cycle unbalanced.

4 Human Impacts on Local and Global Ecosystems:
a- State one way humans impact on an ecosystem.
b- Describe, with a consequence how humans impact on ecosystems.
c- Explain, with consequences from two perspectives how humans impact on ecosystems.

5 Physical and mental health:
a- Describe some ways to improve your health.
b Explain the consequences of having a poor physical and mental health.

6: Addictive Substances:
a State the names of some addictive substances
b- Describe the difference between ‘stimulants’ and ‘depressants’.
c- Explain how addictive drugs use the brain’s ‘reward system’.

I know this is much but I would really want to get an answer and the best answer will get a brainest :)

Answer:

1)Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy into chemical energy that can later be released to fuel the organisms' activities.

In photosynthesis, energy from light is used to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. For 6 carbon dioxide and 6 water molecules, 1 glucose molecule and 6 oxygen molecules are produced.

2)A food web consists of many food chains. A food chain only follows just one path as animals find food. eg: A hawk eats a snake, which has eaten a frog, which has eaten a grasshopper, which has eaten grass. A food web shows the many different paths plants and animals are connected.

3)the series of processes by which carbon compounds are interconverted in the environment, involving the incorporation of carbon dioxide into living tissue by photosynthesis and its return to the atmosphere through respiration, the decay of dead organisms, and the burning of fossil fuels.

the cycle of thermonuclear reactions believed to occur in stars, in which carbon nuclei are repeatedly formed and broken down in the conversion of hydrogen into helium.

4)Land-use change: Humans may destroy natural landscapes as they mine resources and urbanize areas. This is detrimental, as it displaces residing species, reducing available habitats and food sources. ... This can negatively effect an ecosystem because the introduced species may outcompete native organisms and displace them.

5)Connection Between Mental and Physical Health

Mental and physical health is fundamentally linked. There are multiple associations between mental health and chronic physical conditions that significantly impact people’s quality of life, demands on health care and other publicly funded services, and generate consequences to society. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines: health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The WHO states that “there is no health without mental health.”1

Nowhere is the relationship between mental and physical health more evident than in the area of chronic conditions. The associations between mental and physical health are:

Poor mental health is a risk factor for chronic physical conditions.

People with serious mental health conditions are at high risk of experiencing chronic physical conditions.

People with chronic physical conditions are at risk of developing poor mental health.

6)Addiction does not discriminate. Calling a substance abuse hotline for yourself or for a loved one can be a difficult decision to make. It's not always easy admitting that you or a loved ...
