I want the trick to memorise and remember the Valencies of various positive and negative radical.
I don't want valency table, I want the trick to learn it.

Hello!
Learning valencies is very simple u just need to learn the atomic no. of the elements from periodic table or from anywhere and the see its valence electrons if they r below 4 then it is obvious that they will lose electron to complete its octet... So how many electrons they will lose that will be ur valency. In the same way if an atom have more than 4 so how many electrons they will gain that will be ur valency.
