Fragmentation is the type of asexual reproduction....In Which parental body is divided into Many fragments..... so called fragmentation...... it's occurs in sponges... algae e.g.spirogyra........each produced dughter fragments grow as new individual.......

Fragmentation is a type of asexual reproduction where the parent body breaks into different pieces to give rise to a new body.

Each of the broken part has the tendency to emerge as a fully matured part.

For example, planaria and spirogyra splits into part to generate the new one.
