nutrition I the process of intake and conversion of food into smaller molecules which can be absorbed by an organism. it is of two types:-
1. autotrophic nutrition
in this mode of nutrition organisms make own food from simple inorganic materials like CO2 and sunlight. example plants.
2.hetrotrophic nutrition
in this mode of nutrition organisms cannot make their food from simple inorganic materials . they depend on plants for their food. example humans and animals.three types of heterotrophic nutrition are saprotrophic , parasitic and holozoic. again holozoic is divided into three parts that are herbivores carnivores and omnivores.
