A running track has an inside radius of 65 m and an outside
radius of 70 m. How much further would an athlete run if they
ran on the outside of the track instead of on the inside of the

Answer:

31.4 m

Step-by-step explanation:

circumference of circle=2\pir

circumference if inner track=2\pi*65

                                             =408.4 m

circumference if outer track=2\pi*70

                                             =430.8 m

difference of the outer and inner track=430.8-408.4

                                                               =31.4 m
