✨Perimeter=28cm

formula for perimeter=4a

(a means side)

4a=28

a=7cm

✨side=7cm.

Area=a^2

7^2=49cm.

ANSWER:

Given:

  • Perimeter of a square=28cm

To Find:

  • Area of square
  • Length of diagonal

Solution:

Perimeter of a square = 4*side

We are given that, perimeter is 28cm. So,

⇒ 4*side = 28cm

Transposing 4 to RHS,

⇒ side = 7cm

Now,

Area of the square = side²

We have found that side is 7cm. So,

⇒ Area of the square = (7)²

Area of the square = 49cm²

And,

Diagonal of a square = side√2

Diagonal of the square = 7√2cm

Formulae Used:

  • Perimeter of a square = 4*side
  • Area of the square = side²
  • Diagonal of a square = side√2
