Help me out pLz..

Calculate the radius of the third orbit of a hydrogen atom.
Answer is 4.77×10^(-8)cm.
But how plz solve it out andd explain me plz...​

hey 1 amstrong =10^-8 cm

Explanation:

The formula is R = (0.529 n^2/Z ) armstrong

where n is the principal quantum number of the orbit and Z is the atomic number of the element

Putting the value of n = 3 and Z = 1 we have

R = 4.761 armstrong

As r = n2h2/4∏2 mke2

r = 9 × (6.6 × 10-34)2 × 9 × 109/ [4 × (22/7) × (22/7) × 9.1 × 10-31 (1.6 × 10-19)2

= 4.775 × 10-10 m

= 4.775 Å
