Volume of water will remain constant since there is no leakage in container before transferring.

Volume of water = length×breadth×height
                           = 4.4×2×0.04
                           =     0.325 m³

Volume of cylinder = πr²h (h = height of water, r = radius of cylindrical container)

0.325 = π×0.4²×h
∴ h = 0.6468 meters.
