Answer

The property used is distributive property.

Distributive property ⇒ a(b+c) = (a×b) + (a×c)

So let's verify if it actually works.

\sf \frac{3}{7}(\frac{2}{5}+\frac{1}{3})=\frac{3}{7}\times \frac{2}{5}+\frac{3}{7}  \times \frac{1}{3}

\sf \frac{3}{7}(\frac{2}{5}+\frac{1}{3})=\frac{6}{35}+\frac{1}{7}

\sf \frac{3}{7}(\frac{2\times 3 }{5\times 3 }+\frac{1\times 5 }{3\times 5})=\frac{6}{35}+\frac{1\times 5 }{7\times 5 }

\sf \frac{3}{7}(\frac{6}{15 }+\frac{5 }{15})=\frac{6}{35}+\frac{5 }{35 }

\sf \frac{3}{7}\times \frac{11}{15 }=\frac{11}{35}

\sf \frac{11}{35 }=\frac{11}{35}

∴Distributive property works in the either ways.

Additional Information

Distributive property tells us that numbers in brackets can be distributed and put outside the bracket. We frequently come across this property in mathematics.

In distributive property we multiply one number outside the brackets and add two numbers inside the brackets. To simplify this we multiply the first number outside the bracket to the other one number then we add it to the the first number outside the bracket multiplied by the second number in the bracket.

In simple language this is the property ⇒ \sf a(b+c) = a\times b+a\times c
