(1)The Simon commission was constituted by Tory government in Britain,under John simon
(2)The objective of the constitutional system in India and suggest some constitutional changes
(3) But nationalists opposed the commission because it had not a single Indian member
(4) Therefore when Simon commission arrived in India in 1928,it was greeted with slogan "Go back Simon"
(5) All parties including Congress and the Muslim league participated in the demonstration

★Lack of Indian members in the commission .
★ Secondly,the Indians felt that they would again dominate India.
