rusting - The deposition of undesirable substances on the metals , that forms brown colour substance on it , that is rust , and the process is known as rusting.

Metals , like , iron ..., copper
are effected by it.

Rusting is a procss by witch iron is covered by red pouder called  red oxide   Rusting is mostly effect on iron
