i ) total resistance of circuit is 24 ohm

ii) current through circuit is .....
voltage is not given ...

iii) not given v above question then how to find the respetively resistance .

otherwise i give the formula for this ..
v1 = I R1
v2= I R2

Hey mate here is your answer!!!☺️☺️

(1) since resistances is in series so the total resistance or the effective resistance is sum of the two resistances.
So,
R = R1 + R2
R = 4 ohm + 20 ohm
R = 24 ohm

(2) here V is not given so we will consider here as V variable.
I = V/R
so. I = V/24
therefore current through the whole circuit is V/24

(3). potential difference of R1......
V = I×R1
V = V/24 × 4
V = V/6
potential difference of R2...
V = I × R2
V = V/24 × 20
V = 5V/6

☺️☺️hope it helps☺️☺️

grreeaatt: hope u understood
sweetie54: yes thanks
grreeaatt: i think u have not given V
sweetie54: yes
