Answer:. Red And Yellow - It develops on crystalline igneous rocks in areas if low rainfall.

- It is found in eastern and southern parts of Deccan plateau,in parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh,southern parts of middle Ganga plain and along the piedmont zone of Western Ghats.

- It develops a reddish colour due to diffusion of iron in crystalline and metamorphic rocks,it looks yellow when it occurs in a hydrate form.

- Rice,wheat,sugarcane, potato,groundnut, cashew nut,etc. are crops grown on it.

Laterite

- It develops in areas with high temperature and heavy rainfall.

- It is found in Karnataka, Kerala,Tamil Nadu,Madhya Pradesh,and hilly areas of Odisha and Assam.

- It has a low humus content so its suitable for cultivation with adequate doses of manures and fertilizers.

- It needs an appropriate soil conservation. Tea,coffee,rubber,cinchona,coconut,etc. are crops grown on it.

Mountain

- It develops on hilly mountainous areas.

- The soil texture varies according to the environment where they are formed.

- It is loamy and silty in valley sides and coarse grained in upper slopes.

- In Himalayas this soil is acidic with low humus content.

- The soil found in lower parts of the valleys particularly on river terraces and alluvial fans are fertile.

- Wheat,paddy,soyabean, sugarcane,barley,maize,etc. are crops grown on it.
