The process in which a solid directly changes into its gaseous form without melting is called sublimation.
The process in which a gas changes directly into its solid form without condensing into its liquid form is called de-sublimation
A skip of change in state of Matter is called sublimation
Examples of substances which sublime - Ammonium Chloride, Iodine, Napthalane etc

It is a chemical process or chemical change, when a solid matter changes into gaseous state without undergoing liquid state...
